Long Island Center for Yoga

4-Part Beginner Series with Michele (Bakula)

Yoga is a powerful practice that can do more than simply help us live healthier and happier. The truth is that this ancient science can literally transform every aspect of our lives including:

• Improving our relationships at home and at work
• Elevating our energy levels, clarity, and enthusiasm
• Finding more purpose and meaning in our lives

But yoga’s most amazing benefits don’t come from just bending and breathing. Its greatest gifts come from our understanding of how its tools can work to help us live more artfully—tools that in many cases aren’t even taught in yoga classes today.

Join Michele McCarthy (a.k.a. Bakula) for a four-part class series into the hidden aspects of yoga. Throughout each class, Michele will offer us tools for an ongoing yoga practice. Discover meditation and centering techniques, how to safely approach yoga postures, breathing techniques that can be used on and off the mat, and mostly – how to carry the yoga philosophy off your mat and into your daily life.

You’ll walk away ready to use your yoga practice to get the very most out of every area of your life. We encourage our students to take our weekly classes right after the Beginner Series in order to create a healthy routine.

No experience necessary. All are welcome.
